I was recently featured on the front page of The Denver Egotist…check it out here.
I found out this week that I won 2 silver Tellys for my work on HGTV’s New Spaces and Top 10 Amazing Kitchens. The work for New Spaces was doing the 3D floor plans of the remodels showcased on the show, and the Top 10 Amazing Kitchens was for the entire graphics package.
Finally! I’ve updated my reel to include new music and my latest work for HGTV and Food Network. Just in case you would like to see my old reel, it is still up here.

As you can see, this blog isn’t about long articles or lots of pictures. This is basically just a way to some what formally organize the links and resources I’ve found while being a motion graphics designer in Colorado. I’ve also created a group on Facebook by the same name to help connect others interested in this too. Feel free to contact me or add more links in the comments.

John Blessing wins 3 regional Emmys for graphic design. They are for a promo for Sports Replay, a promo for Sex and the City, and a station image campaign for WB2. Three wins in one year is a new record for any CW2/KWGN-TV employee.

John Blessing wins 2 Tellys for graphic design. The first bronze Telly is for the station image IDs for WB2, and the second bronze Telly is for the Fall 2005 Branding package.

John Blessing wins a Heartland Region Emmy for graphic design in the “Comedy, it’s what’s for dinner” campaign for WB2 Colorado.
